+ I Have to Learn Russian +

It is very dry climate in Irkutsk and I always need hand cream. The other day, I used the last cream that I bought the last month, and I went to a shop to buy another hand cream. However the shop didn't have the same cream and I bought other one.

Hand cream?  (Hand cream?)

I used this cream however, however, and however, I felt something strange. Actually, the cream supplied moisture to my hand, but it was like a sun proof cream, even though there were no letters “SPF” on the label and in the explanation. Well, I tried to read the explanation on the back side however there were only Russian. Then I went to bath room and I washed my hands however, my hands against the water, yeah, maybe it was water proof. Have you ever heard a water proof hand cream? I couldn't clean up my hands at the time. I only could pray it was hand cream.

The next day, I brought the cream to my Japanese class, and I asked what it was to my students.

They laughed out!

"Teacher, this is for babies who use diaper!"

What?!

According to the student's explanation, the cream was for protecting the baby's skin around the ass...

Oh, my...

I have to learn Russian for my hands...

+ Russian Keyboard Stickers +

Then, I made Russian Keyboard Stickers and stick each letter on my each key.

My Keyboard  (My keyboard)

I made these stickers in very simple way. I printout the Russian alphabets, stick a transparent adhesive tape on the surface, and stick a both-side adhesive tape on the reverse. Then cut and paste.

I don't know how long these stickers keep their position, yet. But it is just only hand-made quality. Ahaha.

If you want to try to make it, you will be able to download this PDF file.

Did my Russian study go forward a step?

+ Minus 20 Celsius Degrees +

The dormitory's entrance door handle  (The dormitory's entrance door handle)

This morning, the dormitory's entrance door handle of inside was frozen. What happened? Wow, when I went out from my dormitory, I felt something strange around my nose holes. Yeah, I have the same experience in Ottawa; my breath was frozen and melted and it meant that it was under minus fifteen degrees according to my experience. Well, the electric display in the center town showed me the wonderful degree.

Minus 20 Celsius Degrees  (Minus 20 celsius degrees)

YEAH! It's colder than a refrigerator!
